What to check on an aged channel
- Age alone isn’t value
- An old channel with no recent views has little audience to take over. Compare the views of the last 12 months with the channel’s lifetime total.
- History travels with the channel
- Strikes, warnings, and past content stay with a channel after a sale. Read the standing section on the listing and look through the older videos.
- A real change of content
- If you plan a new topic, check that the current audience would stay for it. Subscribers who came for something else may not watch.
