Summary
You could lose some or all of the money you pay for a channel. Channels can lose traffic, monetization, or access, and can be suspended or terminated after a sale. Nothing on SwapCreators is a guarantee or a recommendation.
Platform risk
YouTube and Google control every channel. They can change algorithms, monetization rules, and policies, or restrict, demonetize, or terminate a channel at any time, including because of conduct that happened before you bought it. Selling or transferring a channel may itself be restricted by their terms.
Performance and revenue risk
- Past views and revenue do not predict future results.
- Audiences may not follow a channel when its creator, style, or upload schedule changes.
- Sponsorship, affiliate, and membership income often depends on the original creator and may stop.
- Advertising rates vary by season, audience country, and the wider market.
Information risk
Listing information comes from sellers. Unless a listing states that a specific fact was verified, and how, SwapCreators has not checked it. Analytics can be misrepresented, screenshots edited, and audiences inflated with purchased engagement.
Transfer risk
Transfers can fail or be delayed by Google’s own processes and waiting periods. A seller who keeps hidden access or recovery details may try to regain control. Never share or accept passwords; use official tools and secure the account immediately after transfer.
Fraud risk
Fraudsters may pose as sellers, buyers, or SwapCreators staff. Read the red flags and never pay from instructions sent by chat or email.
Legal, tax, and currency risk
Buying or selling a channel may have legal and tax consequences that depend on where you live. Payments across currencies carry conversion costs and exchange-rate risk. SwapCreators does not give legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult qualified professionals.
Service limitations
Escrow, verification, and dispute handling each have limits set out in their own terms. Escrow protects the payment process. It does not protect the value of the channel, and a verification badge confirms only what it states was checked.
